Cutie Patootie

Aye, it's only been a couple days and I've already missed one day on blogging. This is definitely something new I need to get use to.
So yesterday, I was going through Craigslist (al
ways a good time) just to see if there were any bargains (got a microwave for $5!), and I came upon an ad that said "Free Guinea Pigs - in need of a good home". I clicked on the ad and there were three 6-week old little male guinea pigs for FREE! They are so adorable (see picture to the right.. note that pictures wont show on facebook... please visit my blog).

I probably took five minutes to consider if I really wanted one. For me, the word "free" completely blurs my brain for a good 5-10 minutes (like when it says free shipping... or buy one get one free). This is probably where I make my worst decisions on buying things. I will definitely need to change that. So after about a good 30 minute chat with a couple of my friends online, I decided that a guinea pig was not what I needed. However if I had a guinea pig, it would save the world like ones in the upcoming movie G-Force.

On a side note: while I was googling images I came upon these little cuties. (Pictures won't show up on facebook... please visit my blog.)
I totally want a bunny now.

Speaking of animals, do you know what's a great way to save money? A good old-fashion piggy bank! Target has some that are quite adorable. You throw all of your change in and in a month or two when you count up your coins you see that you have enough to buy that something special! I do realize that you must spend some money for a piggy bank when a box or any other container will do. But why not feel good about throwing some change into these cute things?

Let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
Alice
